From 1 March
Pause Café, Mui Wo
Inner Visions Hong Kong presents a whimsical and imaginative portrayal of the city we love. Through the use of reflections, abstract perspectives, and double exposure techniques, the images capture the introspective and tranquil side of our city. The effects in the images are produced in-camera and edits done in Capture One.

Borderless
Portraits, October 2022
Borderless was a portrait photography exhibition running in October 2022 centred on the blurring and blending of different styles of photography and perspectives from the studio to the neon lights of Hong Kong's streets.
Borderless challenges the standard presentation of photographs
Borderless showcases multiple images to create movement and drama - the same image in different orientations, different images from the same shoot as a sequence, images from radically different shoots juxtaposed as a sequence. Complementing colours and contrasting subject matter create playful transitions from street to the studio in the same art piece. The artwork also toys with the processes of photography: the thought behind constructing a series of photographs that tell a story, the selection and editing of images from a shoot, how the same image can have different impacts depending on its scale and orientation and how images can be imagined as a double exposure (overlayed on top of each other).
Underpinning the exhibition is my focus on creating a feeling of movement and of harmony in contrasts, especially in the strength and fragility of faces, bodies and movements.
Tatler Asia says: "This photography exhibition captures the sensual fluidity of strong human bodies."

Strength in Pieces
We often limit photographs by only seeing them in their original orientation and as one. In this piece, repetition and reorientation add imagery to the strong but vulnerable and anonymous male portraits.
